It began with a call to the wild...

WEREWOLF was born in 2019 from a shared passion for the theatrical power and sacred heavy metal hymns of Powerwolf. Based in Hungary, we set out to recreate the high-energy "Holy Heavy Metal Mass" experience for fans who crave the wolf's howl.

2020: THE FIRST RITUAL

After replacing the original singer, Andras arrived as the new preacher in the spring of 2020. After loads of rehearsals finally they hit the stage in the summer, in Budapest, Hungary, immediatly taking their thrones in the metal tribute underground.

2021: WIND OF CHANGES

Craving fore more professionalism and powerfully delivered, authentic shows the need for replacing some original members urged the changes. The original drummer and one of the guitarists left the band, and finally Tomi and Boldi have arrived, bringing a completely differen level of immersion and professionalism. Finally with Boldi having the experience of professionally timed drumming, the band started to use symphonic background samplers for their performances, bringing the whole experience a lot closer to what fans were seeking for.

From 2022: SPREADING THE WORDS OF HEAVY METAL

From 2022 they play shows mainly in bigger Hungarian towns and in Slovakia always aiming for the maximum available improvement. For the first time they were invited to the Netherlands to attend a one-night festival in Etten-Leur in December 2024 where they had the unbelievable honour to be watched by the drummer of Powerwolf, the almighty Roel van Helden. The guys can't believe it till today!!! They made great friendships there with the local bands and fans, and were invited again for Fuizen Fest next to Tilburg in September 2025. This was their greatest opportunity as of now, giving them enough strenght and motivation to carry on and bring the holy Heavy Metal Mass to more and more venues.
